Question

According to DRG KPP 2025, the maximum price of administration of NOVOSEVEN as an add-on item to the performance 64365.a - 4 506,73 EUR. Which means significant losses for UNB KHaT.

A patient was hospitalized at KHaT in UNB Petržalka and was indicated and administered NOVOSEVEN 1mg and 2 mg in number of pieces: 1mg - 12 pieces - the cost of purchase of the medicine 1 piece is 469,64 EUR = 5635,68 EUR 2mg - 21 pieces - the cost of purchase of the medicine 1 piece is 937 EUR = 19 677 EUR The cost of administration of medicines during HP only is 25 312,68 EUR According to DRG KPP 2025 the maximum cost of administration of the medicine NOVOSEVEN as an addable item to the performance is 64365.a - 4 506,73 Euros. Which means significant losses for UNB KHaT.

We ask to reconsider the prices of NOVOSEVEN as a PP in the KPP. (the medicine was centrally purchased in the past)

Answer

The reporting of the administered amount of medicine has been comprehensively revised and set up via markers in the DRG system from 1.1.2026 due to a number of suggestions of a similar nature, which makes the DRG system more flexible in the reporting, as the markers report the exact administered amount of medicine without limits.
