Question
64386.- breakdown only up to 100g and more than 100g is insufficient.
Big negative impact. On the basis of the reimbursement set up in this way, the PP provided to our patients is not covered by the ZP at that time. For the year 2025 even, the reimbursement for this PP has fallen. In UNB last year, 1770 patients were hospitalized in which the drug albumin was administered. In 649 cases the consumption per patient was more than 100g. The actual cost for these patients was €540,215, the attributable item reimburses only €237,534. The hospital had to cover the difference of €302 681 from its own resources, which contributes to deepening the loss. The analysis does not include the costs incurred by Petržalka Hospital in the period 1-4/2024, as the records are in a different IS. This would make the loss even higher.
Answer
The reporting of the administered amount of medicine has been comprehensively revised and set up via markers in the DRG system from 1.1.2026 due to a number of suggestions of a similar nature, which makes the DRG system more flexible in the reporting, as the markers report the exact administered amount of medicine without limits.
