Question

The petitioner requests that medical procedures 12j00.2 and 31311 be included in the DRG's DRVs as significant.

Answer

The investigation of the significance of the performance of fine needle biopsy under the control of endobronchial ultrasonography was performed as part of the changes to the Definitions Manual for 2026. The analysis resulted in changes in three ADRGs of MDC 04 Diseases of the respiratory system, namely: E71, E74, E75. The modified incorporation of the proposal was approved as part of the changes to the 2026 Definitional Manual at the 6th Steering Committee meeting (minutes of the meeting are available online).
