Guideline on reporting of health care according to DRGs, in DR274e, with effect from 1.1.2026

At its 5th meeting, the Steering Committee approved a guideline intended to specify more precisely the reporting of health care by DRG, in DR274e, effective January 1, 2026.

The guideline covers the following 4 areas:

• Reporting of DR in corrective and additive benefits after 1.2.2026 in DR274e,
• marker reporting,
• reporting of DRG attributable items,
• not merging classification cases with admission dates before 1/1/2026 and admission dates after 1/1/2026.
